Physical Security
Level of Physical Security Controls
- Visitor and Employee Identification
Every employee is provided with an identification badge, which is used for authorization and access to various areas of the organization to which he/she is authorized. Identification badges are prominently displayed by the employee at all times. Each visitor is required to report to the main security area and identify him/herself. Upon verification, the visitor is issued a visitor pass, which allows him/her access only into specifically identified areas of the organization. The visitor is accompanied by the person visited to any area within the organization. A visitor log is maintained recording the time entered, exit time and employee visited.
- Physical Access Controls
To protect the server and networking equipment from unauthorized physical access,
the Network Administration Department has implemented the Access Control System. Server room access is restricted to the Network Administration Department, the Maintenance Support Team and the Security Supervisor.
