Redundancy
- Storage of Backup Data Media
Backup tape media is sent off-site and stored in fireproof storage. An entry is noted in the Data Backup Media Movement Register. The offsite storage address and contact person is documented under the Disaster Recovery Plan. Observations are documented.
- Critical Records
Backup of records and documents related to contracts, amendments to contracts, government approvals and important correspondence with customers is maintained in the identified location for recovery..
- Facilities
Disaster alternate arrangements in a remote location are made with the best available resources for facilities such as hardware, network and communication links to quickly establish essential business activities.
- Training
Selected employees are provided with training to make them conversant on backup and recovery processes. Disaster recovery tests are conducted twice a year to perfect the recovery of data and business activities.
